If you utilize payload keybox for your mobile escrow deposits, you have the option to request API access from Darwin. This allows Payload Keybox to automatically log the escrow deposit in Darwin.
For the integration to function effectively, Keybox will require a list of your company IDs, as well as the Darwin GL account numbers for the bank accounts into which they will be recording the deposits.
The integration process starts with recording the deposit in the Keybox application. Subsequently, Keybox scans your Darwin database for a corresponding address and attaches the deposit to the property.
If Keybox cannot locate a matching property record in Darwin, they will generate a new pending transaction in Darwin with the escrow deposit.
Monitoring the deposits in darwin
You can monitor the deposits made in Darwin by adding two views to your Darwin dashboard. One of these displays the escrow deposits made by Keybox in the last seven days.
The second view presents properties for which Keybox could not find a match, prompting them to generate a new property record in the last seven days.
There are instances where the property in question is a duplicate, and you will need to transfer the escrow or trust funds to the correct property. On the other hand, this situation can also occur when dealing with a buyer-side transaction that has not yet been recorded in Darwin.
