There might be times when printing out a check from darwin Cloud will produce a light text on the check. 

To fix:

1. Go to Tools
2. Go to Check layout
3. Choose the check template from the drop down list
4. Click any merge field in the check
5. Check the box next to bold to change font
6. Click save
