After running the export, an email with the exported data will be sent to the address entered on the submission screen. Once the email is received, the two files can be downloaded and saved to a local computer by following the steps below. The screens may appear differently based on the email system used.
Downloading Roster Sync File
Click the roster reporting file link in the email body
The file will open as a new Google Drive tab in the browser. Click the export button in the top-left corner:
This will export to another tab with a download option. Click the download button on the screen
A dialogue box will open with the Save As prompt:
- select the folder where the document will be saved
- update the file name (since there will be a new file each week, it is recommended to include the date in the file name)
- confirm that the Save as type is XML Document
- click Save
Downloading the Transaction Batch File
Click the transaction reporting file link in the email body
The file will open as a new Google Drive tab in the browser. Click the export button in the top-left corner:
This will export to another tab with a download option. Click the download button on the screen
A dialogue box will open with the Save As prompt:
- select the folder where the document will be saved
- update the file name (since there will be a new file each week, it is recommended to include the date in the file name)
- confirm that the Save as type is Text Document
- click Save
