Setting Up RE/MAX Franchise Report in darwin Cloud

Enter RE/MAX Office ID's

The RE/MAX Office ID must be filled in for every office with transaction data associated.  To enter the Office ID:

  1. Click Company menu
  2. Click Office submenu
  3. Enter the 9-digit RE/MAX Office ID in the franchise ID field
  4. Click save

Enter RE/MAX Associate ID's

The RE/MAX Associate ID must be filled in on the agent profile for any agent that had production during the reporting period.  On the profile of each applicable agent:

  1. Click People menu
  2. Click search to locate the agent
  3. Click People Links submenu
  4. Enter the 9-digit RE/MAX Associate ID in the field agent #
  5. Click save

Review Accounting Codes of Reportable Transactions

The current version of the RE/MAX report is designed to pull transactions with the following Accounting Classes in darwin Cloud:

  • Commercial Prop Mgmt
  • Commercial Referral
  • Commercial Rental
  • Commercial Sale
  • Residential Referral
  • Residential Rental
  • Residential Sale

NOTE: Residential Property Management is intentionally excluded per the RE/MAX Report guidelines

To review the setup of accounting codes in darwin Cloud:

  1. Click Dropdowns menu
  2. Click Properties submenu
  3. Select Accounting codes from the list

darwin Cloud offers a report that formats user closing data for upload to the RE/MAX website. For this report to pull the needed data, accurate RE/MAX Office and Associate ID's must be filled in for each office and agent. 

Exporting the RE/MAX Report

The RE/MAX report is designed to export as an excel file and send directly to a user's email address.  To export the report:

  1. click Tools
  2. click Push
  3. select the option REMAX from the submission destination dropdown
  4. click new
  1. select the option REMAX from the submission destination dropdown
  2. select the company
  3. select the year
  4. select the month
  5. enter the recipient's email address in the email field
  6. click submit

After clicking submit, the report will calculated to determine which records to include.  When the process has completed:

  1. the number of records processed will display on the screen
  2. click close to exit


Check Submission File

The report generated behind the scenes is calculated using live data, which means that it includes all updates up to the minute it was submitted.  Because the report is pulling against live data instead of using the pre-calculated cubes, the export can take 10 minutes or longer to process, depending on the amount of data.

  1. check the email account for a message with subject line DARWIN - REMAX submission
  2. use one of the methods below to download the file

Download Option 1: Direct Download

  1. click the attachment on the email to download
  2. a file will download
  1. click the arrow to view file options
  2. select open

1. confirm that the name of the tab is "data"

Download Option 2: Download Via Google Drive

1. click the link in the body of the email


The link will open a preview of the report in a new tab.  

  1. click the expand button to open the download screen

From the download screen:

  1. click Open with
  2. select Google Sheets from the dropdown

The file can be exported from Google Sheets to Excel:

  1. click File
  2. click Download as
  3. select Microsoft Excel

When the file downloads:

  1. click Enable Editing

The final step before uploading the data to the RE/MAX website is to edit the name of the tab at the bottom of the spreadsheet.  This can be done by double-clicking the tab to highlight the text, then typing to overwrite the text "sheet 1" with the text "data."

  1. change the tab name to data
