Before adding a new office in darwin, there are some aspects of setup that should be considered:

Is this an office for accounting purposes only, or will agents be added to this office?
- for an office to be able to submit people and properties to dash, AccountTECH will have to initialize/synchronize the new office with dash. (please refer to you contract for the applicable charges)
- Please email [email protected], and provide the office ID associated with the new office, along with the date the new office will be 'live' in dash
- If this office is an acquisition, please let us know of any special considerations. For example, franchise fees are not owed for pending transactions that are pending prior to the acquisition date.
- Are there any people, listings or transactions that need to be imported from dash?
- Will this office process accounting entries under the existing company, or will it operate as a separate legal entity?

Will this office pull listings from one or more MLS's?
- Are we already pulling from these MLSs or is it a new MLS feed we will need to setup? (please refer to you contract for the applicable charges)

New Company vs. New Office?
If your new office will have a separate Company ID in dash, or if the new office will be set up with completely separate accounting systems under a new tax ID, you may need to set up a separate company within darwin.

Creating a New Office
- click Company
- click Office
- click new
- select company
- enter office name
- click start
After the office is created, additional information can be added to the screen as needed. For any offices that will be reporting transaction data to Realogy, the office Franchise ID is required:
- enter Franchise ID
- this will be the 4 digit office id from dash
- click save
New offices are hidden from all user accounts by default. To add user permission to view the new office:
- click Security
- click Manager users
- navigate to the profile of the user to be updated
- check the box next to the office to add access
- click save
Please make sure to add the office to the users starting with SA, AT and ATON so that accounttech staff will see the new office when they login
