How to Void an Escrow Check

There are two options on voiding a written Escrow check

If the company does not want to keep the record

  1. Go to Properties
  2. Go to Basics submenu
  3. Click search
  4. Enter part of the property address
  5. Filter status from the drop-down list
  6. Click search
  7. Click on the property address
  1. Go to Escrow submenu
  2. Click on the field to start modifying (do not click on the payee's name)
  3. Click delete

If the company wants to keep the record

  1. Go to Properties
  2. Go to Basics submenu
  3. Click search
  4. Enter part of the property address
  5. Filter status from the drop-down list
  6. Click search
  7. Click on the property address
  1. Go to Escrow submenu
  2. Click on the field to start modifying (do not click on the payee's name)
  3. Edit amount to $0
  4. Edit memo and add  "- VOID"
  5. Click save
