• An action to prevent users from overwriting other users' changes on the 1099 Reconciliation screen.
• This action can be added to users to allow them to unlock the 1099 reconciliations.
  • Ledger > 1099 Reconciliation > Allow Edit

Since this is new security role action, this is not added to all security roles by default.

To add this:

1. Click Security menu
2. Click Roles submenu
3. Select role on the left side of the screen, example Administrator
4. Choose actions tab
5. Search "Ledger > 1099" under not selected and select the action
6. Click save

This is what the user will see if other user's is working on the 1099 batch and do NOT have permission access.

• READ ONLY MODE
• The button "unlock read only mode" is NOT showing

This is what the user will see if other user's is working on the 1099 batch and have permission access.

• READ ONLY MODE
• The button "unlock read only mode" is showing

If the user have access to edit, when the notification pops up:

1. Click ok
2. Click the button to unlock read only mode
3. Click ok

Unlocking the read only mode will removed the red text - READ ONLY MODE and the button for "unlock read only mode" is grayed-out.

The user can now edit the 1099 batch.
